In 1971, Gert Johansson invented the world’s first size marker. What began as a practical solution to help customers find the right size quickly became a global retail standard.
We did not follow the category. We created it.
Today we are proud to have established ourselves as the leader in visual merchandising products in the garment industries, worldwide. Mark Bric is a global manufacturer of size identification and visual merchandising products serving retail chains, wholesalers, and distributors worldwide.
We are headquartered in Sweden, with production and sales operations in both Sweden and Richmond, Virginia, serving customers globally.

A Founder’s Legacy
Gert Johansson believed that business should create value beyond products. In 1993, he founded the Dispurse Foundation to support education initiatives that help individuals gain literacy, numeracy, and digital skills as a pathway out of poverty.
The foundation operates independently today, working internationally to expand access to education.
While Mark Bric does not manage the foundation, we are proud of this part of our heritage. It reflects a long-term perspective and a belief in practical solutions that create real impact.
